Gracias, Aarón y Hur…

¿De qué otra manera habríamos podido seguir sirviendo estos 25 años y 4 meses sino porque ustedes son los y las Aarones y Hurs del siglo xxi? (Éxodo 17) En este 2025, a la fecha, hemos volado en 36 aviones y dormido en 38 camas (dos veces a WV, cinco a PR, dos a Chile y una a MI), para reconectarnos con nuestra red de iglesias y países donde servimos lo que el Señor nos ha inspirado a preparar para “Discípulos del Camino–Encuentros de Discipulado”. Escribimos mientras nos preparamos para viajar a España y luego a Colombia llenos de gratitud…

Sin embargo, al prepararnos para los próximos dos meses de viajes en 2025 y planificar para los próximos 18 meses de esta asignación, estamos conscientes de la posibilidad inminente de que nos pidan hacer una asignación especial de recaudación de fondos en EE.UU. y Puerto Rico que cubra nuestro déficit actual y asegure las ofrendas mensuales que necesitamos para un presupuesto operacional balanceado de. nuestras necesidades ministeriales y de vida en el 2025-2026. Dios posee todo y oramos que Él inquiete a muchas personas a ver la necesidad urgente de este llamado a la oración y la acción.

De estos viajes de reconexión, estos son testimonios de lo que el Señor nos ha permitido con quienes servimos. Son ejemplos de Su obra alrededor del mundo a través de nuestras interacciones:

Mario R. en Chile dice: “Yo estoy disfrutando cada módulo y me ayuda mucho para mis predicaciones. Así que, agradecido.”

Ester A. en España dice: “Con ellos aprendo, comparto ideas, oramos… Su experiencia pastoral y mentoreo me ayudan en el ministerio; seguimos manteniendo la amistad aún en la distancia.”

Laura B. en Nicaragua dice: “El trabajo, el acompañamiento y sus oraciones por los BGs no solo sigue impactando mi vida sino que a través de Raquel y esta servidora podemos impactar a otras personas con lo que aprendí de ellos cuando vivieron en mi país y le enseñé a Raquel para que enseñemos e impactemos a más al compartirles los materiales de encuentros de discipulado que prepararon los BGs.”

Esto son ejemplos de testimonios del impacto que Dios obra en las vidas de otras personas donde Él nos sigue enviando. Tenemos planes para el 2026 y 2027 que quedarán en la etapa de planificación a menos que Dios obra milagrosamente las ventanas de los cielos y derrame abundantemente para cubrir el déficit actual y asegure los recursos adecuados que necesitamos para continuar nuestro ministerio sin tener que interrumpirlo para buscar más fondos.

Así que, no solo les pedimos que sigan manteniendo nuestros brazos en alto como los Aarón y Hur que han sido por un cuarto de siglo, sino que humildemente pedimos “primero (hágannos) un panecito de la harina que tienen y (tráigannoslo) ” con la harina y el aceite que tienen. (1 Reyes 17) Buscamos seguir siendo fieles y obedientes al llamado del 2000 al empezar, sin girar a derecha ni izquierda sino manteniéndonos firmes en Su Palabra. (Josué 23)

Tal vez no puedan dar más que lo que ya dan. Mas, de seguro alguien a su alrededor quiere y puede ponerse en la brecha con ustedes y nosotros con una ofrenda especial o un compromiso mensual para seguir haciendo discípulos. ¿Nos acompañan junto al MPT consiguiendo el apoyo necesario para completar esta asignación sin interrupciones? ¡Bendecimos con expectativa al Señor de quien fluyen todas las bendiciones!

Sentimos gratitud y esperanza en el Dios que nos llamó en el 2000 y nos sigue llamando, que nos proveerá lo necesario para las necesidades suyas y nuestras. Que seamos bendecidos en el mes de acción de gracias y siempre…

Thank you, Aaron and Hur…

How else could we have continued in service for 25 years and 4 months if it weren’t for your being the Aarons and Hurs of the 21st century? (Exodus 17) In 2025, to date, we have flown in 36 planes and slept in 38 beds (twice to WV, five times to PR, twice to Chile, and once to MI), to reconnect with our network churches and the countries of service where we are sharing what the Lord has inspired us to prepare for the “Disciples of the Way–Discipleship Encounters”. We write this journal while preparing to travel to Spain and then to Colombia.

However, as we prepare to travel again these last two months of 2025 to share and prepare for the next 18 months of this assignment, we are aware of the impending possibility of being called away from our active ministry to a special US/PR fundraising assignment to offset our current deficit and secure monthly giving for a fully funded operational balance of our living allowance and ministry funds needs in 2025-2026. God has access to all the adequate resources that are needed and we pray He will be nudging many of you to see the urgency of this call to prayer and financial support.

While traveling, these are some of the testimonies we’ve received from those whom the Lord has allowed us to serve with. Examples of His work around the world through our interactions:

Mario R. in Chile says: “I am enjoying each module, and it is helping me for the sermons. Thanks so much!”

Ester A. in Spain shares: “With them I learn, share concerns, pray… Their pastoral experience and mentorship help me in my ministry, even through the distance as we keep our relationship active.”

Laura B. in Nicaragua says: “The work, company, and prayers of all of you in the BGs network continues to impact not only my life so I could impact Raquel’s but through Raquel and myself we can impact others with what I learned from the BGs when they lived in Nicaragua and I have taught Raquel so we can teach and impact others sharing the discipleship encounter materials the BGs prepared.”

These are glimpses of testimonies of the impact God is making in the lives of others where He continues to send us. We have plans for 2026 and 2027 that will not happen unless God miraculously opens the gates of heaven and provides abundantly to offset our current deficit and secure the adequate resources we need to continue our ministry without that impending interruption to raise funds.

So, not only are we asking you to continue raising our arms like the Aarons and Hurs you’ve been this quarter of a century, but we are humbly asking you to “make us first a small loaf of bread” with the flour and oil you have. (1 Kings 17) We seek to remain faithful and obedient to the same calling we had in 2000 when we began, not turning to the right or the left but staying strong in His Word. (Joshua 23)

Perhaps you cannot give more than what you are giving already. Yet, most likely you know someone around you who is willing and able to stand in the gap with you and us with a one-time gift or a monthly commitment for this ministry of disciple-making in Iberoamerica and the Caribbean. Would you be willing to join us and our MPT in finding the support we need to complete this assignment without that special assignment that would interrupt the flow of our ministry? In anticipation, we praise God from Whom all blessings flow!

We are truly grateful and hopeful that the God who called us in 2000 and is calling us to continue, will provide you and us all our needs. May you be blessed this Thanksgiving month and always!
