Hello friends;
First, here’s some good news from Mylinda Baits!
- This year, she celebrates 25 years as a global servant with International Ministries! After spending 12 years in Costa Rica together with me (Gary), she has now completed 13 years on her own, currently
serving as a Global Consultant for Training Through Restorative Arts.
- Grandbabies! Our daughter Jamie gave birth on October 25th to Clementine Baits Rongcal, and our daughter-in-law, Kelsey, is due on Thanksgiving. We are thrilled!

- Mylinda’s partnership with ministry partners in Cuba continues to grow and develop, with three cohorts, nine trips, and regular coaching and supervision via WhatsApp. Our Cuban sisters and brothers are incredibly resilient, facing daily challenges of scarcity and a lack of dependable access to essential resources, including technology, electricity, and basic necessities such as food and water. In fact, this week, the graduates of the first EXIT cohort are forming a team of first responders to provide arts-based, psycho-social, and spiritual support to several of the most affected communities from Hurricane Melissa.
- The faithful, generous giving of individuals and churches has made Mylinda’s ministry possible for the last 25 years. God has used people like you to bring this about. We are deeply grateful.
And now, the challenges
- Mylinda’s current pledged support is at 74% of what it should be. This means that until donations reach 100%, she will not be able to provide training or accept invitations from overseas partners to collaborate in ministry projects.
- While faithful donors have supported Mylinda for over twenty-five years, she has also lost some significant and consistent donors. Some donors have passed away, while other gifts resulted from specific bequests that have been fulfilled.
- Mylinda loves the ministry to which God has called her, and wants to continue serving, traveling, and using her gifts. Those of us who know Mylinda know that she loves to be engaged and active; there is no quit in her!
- Mylinda’s ministry can only continue with intentional, increased support. The shortfall is currently $2100 per month. Ongoing, monthly donations are preferred. That breaks down to twenty-one $100 donations, one hundred $21 donations, or any combination of dollars and donors that funds Mylinda’s ministry completely.
How you can partner with Mylinda
- If you are part of a church, consider inviting Mylinda to visit and share about her ministry. Encourage your church to add Mylinda to your monthly budget.
- If you are not in a position to give financially, your prayers are a great encouragement to Mylinda. To pray more specifically, you can sign up to receive Mylinda’s in your email inbox. At https://internationalministries.org/author/m-baits/, then scroll down to Newsletter Signup.
- Please consider giving a monthly amount. While all donations are appreciated, ongoing, monthly givingprovides stability and confidence.
- Give through the website at https://internationalministries.org/author/m-baits/ or use this QR code:

- If you wish to donate stock or establish a charitable annuity, we can connect you with donor services to assist you with the process.
