As many of you know, we will be leaving for our missions training at the King’s Lodge in Nuneaton, England, at the end of March. After three months in England, we will fly from Birmingham, UK, to the Philippines, on the island of Mindanao, for the months of July and August. While we are in the Philippines, you can join us. I think I will say that again to let it soak in: While we are in the Philippines, you can join us!!! There will be about 100 people going from the King’s Lodge and applications are being taken for additional people to go.

Some of what will be happening is as follows: People are welcome to join us for the length of time they can make happen during a three-week period between June 30, 2007 and July 20, 2007. The YWAM base is inviting people of all ages and nationalities to join us for its third Mega-Outreach to the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. We will be ministering to orphans, prisoners, street people, and churches with music, drama, basic healthcare, relief work, prayer, testimonies, and friendship, as we share the love of Jesus with everyone we meet. Notice that it is for people of all ages, which means that whole families are welcome! We will have our three kids, Tanner, Keaton and Regan who are 8, 5 (will be 6 then) and 3.

God has shown us that our ministry, FJ Ministries, is in part about paving paths that others can follow into missions and a missional lifestyle. We are praying even now that God will enable us to help fund others who will follow God’s call into carrying the gospel of Jesus Christ into other cultures.
