When I write the above title, I hear the theme song from the Jeffersons. If you have no idea what I’m talking about you are probably under 30. Anyway, the joy that floods my soul is Jesus, and He helps me see the reality that although we just traded 4000 square feet for 400 for the next few months, we have truly moved onward and upward. Tara’s dorm showers and toilets aren’t too far away; I’m not sure yet where the boys and I are supposed to go. 🙂 I told Tanner it is like he has gone to university! Oh, as I read this to Tara she tells our showers are up one floor. LOL.
Songs keep coming to mind and I must say it “Looks like we made it,” while hearing Barry Manilow croon in my crown. Even if you are under 30 you may know that because of the sensation that is American Idol. What in the world has the world come to when Chris Sligh gets booted but Sanjaya Malakar and Haley Scarnato stay? That reminds me of the purpose of this post because I am simply trying to write and let all our friends and family know that we made it safely to the King’s Lodge in Nuneaton, England. Why does AI remind me of that? Well… Simon says so.
Anyway, we don’t have any pictures yet because all of our camera batteries are dead. We brought all the adapters and such (thank you Gordon Allison), and we hope to be up and running with visual effects soon. We love you and will be writing much about what we are learning and experiencing. We are exhausted. If I add up the sleep I got on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights of this week, it only adds up to about five hours total… (explaining my silliness) so I am about Asleep at the Wheel. Have a wonderful Friday, and I am off to find out about where in the world we are.
