Well, I’m blogging live from the Manila International Airport. Although their computers are down and we cannot check in, the wi-fi system is working fine. I turned on my computer to find my frequent flier numbers and discovered that my computer connected right up to the internet. We left our home in Cagayan de Oro around 11:00 a.m. this morning Philippines time. It is now 10:45 p.m. Philippines time and our flight doesn’t leave for another 1.5 hours (at 12:20 a.m.). We will fly to Seoul and arrive there about four hours later. Then, we have an 8-hour layover in South Korea before boarding our plane to fly to London, arriving there I think some time in the late afternoon. I think it’s over 30 hours of traveling. With three kids. I’m sure you wish you were us right now. 🙂
Please pray for safe and fun travel. Please pray that our children, although tired and going through tons of emotions, will handle the travels well. Pray especially for Keaton and me as we are still battling some fever (Keaton’s is especially high at times) and much congestion.
We said goodbye this morning to dozens of Filipino friends. It was hard. They are so wonderful. Below are a few of them in pictures that didn’t get lost in electronic neverland (see my last post). These were all taken while we were still in Iligan.
Thank you for your prayers!!! We will be back in Arkansas on September 2nd, late Sunday evening. We can’t wait to see everyone.
This one is Alna Grace with Keaton (and Ezra from Iligan, the son of the family who took such great care of us there). Alna Grace adopted Keaton as her little brother and played games nonstop with him when they were together. She blessed us mightily.
