What a process we have been through. We have our house on the market for sale and we have had three days of moving sales. We’ve sold furniture, clothes, decorations, books, appliances, camping gear and, well, just about everything. We’ve got our Christmas decorations, some books, photographs, and a few other keepsakes boxed up; the rest of our belongings are in suitcases and a some boxes to be shipped.
Even after purging rooms filled with “stuff” we still have so much. We are blessed with more than we need. And it has been so good to lighten our load. I highly recommend it. If you’ve never taken inventory and asked whether everything you have is in God’s hands or in yours, or whether you are trusting in your stuff or in Him, it is something you should do. It is incredibly freeing to give it all over to God.
Our journey to the University of the Nations will be an interesting one. Tanner, Keaton and I load up in our car on April 26th to drive to Los Angeles, so that we can ship our vehicle from there. We will take time to see the Grand Canyon along the way. Then, the three of us will fly to Kona on April 30th. Tara, Regan and our dog will board a plane here in Northwest Arkansas on April 30th and meet us in Kona.
We look forward to our adventure ahead.
