It has been a while since I’ve posted. Of course, I kind of like just leaving my beautiful children front and center. 🙂 A few months ago God shook me awake to Him again and I’ve been on a very difficult but amazing journey. I will be writing more about it soon. In the meantime, I just want to share some scripture that has meant a lot to me (from Psalm 119):
May my cry come before you, O LORD; give me understanding according to your word. May my supplication come before you; deliver me according to your promise. May my lips overflow with praise, for you teach me your decrees. May my tongue sing of your word, for all your commands are righteous. May your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts. I long for your salvation, O LORD, and your law is my delight. Let me live that I may praise you, and may your laws sustain me. I have strayed like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for I have not forgotten your commands.
Psalm 119 is such an amazing poem of the power of God’s Word. And as we know that Jesus is the Word, it’s just amazing to meditate on. If we are not clothing ourselves with Christ, the Word, daily, and throughout our days, then we leave ourselves very open to attack. I pray God will give me the grace to immerse myself consistently in Him and His Word!
